Resources

As part of your preparation for the SAT, you should be familiar with various resources that are available for you to use. It would be very beneficial if you added at least one of these resources to your weekly routine. The idea is to prepare for the SAT every single day, not just when you complete the activities and assignments for this course.

Read below about several resources:

College Board is where you will not only register for the SAT, but it also provides you with a wealth of information regarding the SAT. You can even register to have an SAT question emailed to you every single day!

USA Test Prep is one of the best resources you can use to take actual practice exams! In order to have access to all of the free SAT Prep materials, students will be required to create an account. Your teacher can provide you with account creation information.

Veritas Prep is a free website dedicated to providing students with practice exams and learning videos for SAT preparation.

Khan Academy is another free website dedicated to providing students with practice exams and learning videos for SAT preparation.

Quizlet is a great place to take practice quizzes and to see sample questions. Work on expanding your vocabulary and create your own flashcards using this resource. Quizlet also offers an app for your smartphone!

Free Rice is a site that will help you practice your vocabulary. At first, the words are easy, but they get increasingly harder. Plus, for each answer you get right, they donate 10 grains of rice to needy countries.

Major Tests is another site where you can view sample SAT questions. Remember, the more practice tests you take, the better!
