LP - Los números - numbers (Lesson)
Los números - numbers
This section of the module introduces the numbers from 0-30 in Spanish. Go to the sidebar to see and hear the numbers in Spanish. Take notes and listen to the numbers. Also, click on the "Los Números" link in the sidebar to listen to different speakers from many Spanish-speaking countries pronounce numbers 1 - 10. ¡Qué Interesante!
When writing numbers 16-19 and 21-29 in Spanish, you can do it one of two ways:
- For numbers 16-19, write out both numbers separated by 'y" (and), or by changing the z to c, y to I, and combining. Ejemplo - 16 can be written as diez y seis or dieciséis.
- For numbers 21-29, write out both numbers separated by "y", or by dropping the final e, changing the y to i, and combining. Ejemplo - 21 can be written as veinte y uno or veintiuno.
After practicing and taking notes, try practicing your skills with the various activities provided below. Practice your pronunciation by saying your vocabulary out loud as you complete the activity. Mimic the speaker(s) and try to reproduce the pronunciation you hear.
