Months and Days: Did you know that the Spanish calendar starts with Monday, as opposed to Sunday here in the United States? Also, the days of the week and months of the year are NOT capitalized in Spanish.

** When you use the singular article " el " with a day of the week it means "on".
Example: Voy al parquet el lunes - I am going to the park on Monday.
**When you use the plural article " los " with the day of the week it means "every".
Example: Voy al parquet los lunes. I go to the park (every) on Mondays.
