Introduction
Surgeon General's Report
Many people are excited about fitness programs and having an active lifestyle; however, research shows that a large percentage of adults are not very fit and many are obese. In 1996, the Surgeon General published a Report on Physical Activity and Health. This was the first report to emphasize the importance of physical fitness and the quality of life.
In this lesson, we will look at the Surgeon General’s Report on Physical Activity and Health and current research that has been completed. We will also examine health risk factors and how you can change your current health, as well as, the state of your future health.Explore

Reflection
