Did you notice this structure: noun + à + infinitive = to [verb] something
- Les crêpes sont à manger.
- The crêpes are for eating.
- The crêpes are to eat.
- Il y a des sodas à boire.
- There are some sodas to drink .
- Il y a deux films à voir au cinéma.
- There are two movies to see at the cinema.
Note
- J'aime manger les crêpes.
- I like to eat crêpes.
- Il y a des crêpes à manger.
- There are some crêpes to eat.
The noun must be described by the construction à + verb.
