Louis Armstrong

Louis Armstrong was a trumpeter, bandleader, and singer from New Orleans, Louisiana. He came to fame in the 1920s for his skillful trumpet style and unique singing voice.

Armstrong's stage presence impressed not only the jazz world but all of popular music. He recorded several songs throughout his career, including one of his most famous, "What a Wonderful World."
