What is FCCLA?

FCCLA is an acronym for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. It is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for young men and women in Family and consumer Sciences education, or as determined by the state department of education, in public and private schools through grade 12. It is the only career and technical in-school student organization with family as its central focus. Participation in national programs and chapter activities helps members become strong leaders in their families, careers and communities. Membership is gained by paying an annual dues amount.
