(LAM) Functions of Business Lesson

Functions of Business

The six functions of business: accounting, finance, production and operations, marketing, sales, and management, are all interrelated. This means that one function does not stand alone, but works in conjunction with all others. For instance, accounting provides information to management to make better decisions about operation and production. Operation and production uses the finance function to provide funding for the raw materials and machinery to produce the goods and services that marketing promotes and the sales team sells.
