Introduction
Cybersecurity is the protection of computer systems, networks, and data from digital attacks. Increased connectivity via the Internet of Things and reliance on computer devices to send and store data makes users more vulnerable to cyber-attacks.
In this module, you will examine and identify basic cybersecurity needs in society.

Confidentiality- the protection of information from people who are not authorized to view it.
Integrity- Ensures that information is protected from unauthorized or unintentional alteration.
Availability- the assurance that systems and data are accessible by authorized users when and where needed.
Access Control- Selective restriction of access to a place or other resource.
Authorization- Permission to access a resource
Cybersecurity Risk Management- the continuous process of identifying, analyzing, evaluating, and addressing an organization’s cybersecurity threats.
Physical Security- Security measures that are designed to deny unauthorized access to facilities, equipment and resources and to protect personnel and property from damage or harm.
