Scientific name is included (does not have to be an actual name, but should follow the 2 part Linnaean system with a Genus species... the Genus should match the animal the student is relating to their newly created organism and the species name should be made-up)

Discussion of a close relative of the newly created species is included

10 physical characteristics are described

Discussion of homologous AND analogous features of the species is included

Journal entry, video blog, or news article is the format of the artifact (or submitted "your choice" proposal form for preapproval)
