(EC): India Food Web Ecosystem Assignment 🎯 Rubric

Correct biome is identified for India (there are only 3 major biomes found in India) and a title is included

Food web includes at least 3 trophic levels and 6 organisms, organisms are actually found in the biome that was previously identified, arrows point in the correct direction of energy flow, energy roles are labeled (producer, consumer, etc), food web is student created and NOT pulled from the internet

Discussion of the effects on the ecosystem if one organism were to be removed is included

Discussion of the factors that would have caused the organism previously discussed to disappear is included

Energy pyramid is discussed with energy amounts at each level (producer, primary consumer, etc) included (a drawing is a great way to achieve this!)

Argument to predict the impact of an environmental change on the stability of this food web and ecosystem (ex. global warming) is included

Discussion of explanations that predict an organism's ability to survive in one of the following environmental limits such as a significant temperature change, pH, a drought, or a fire is included

Presentation, children's book, or cartoon is the format of the artifact (or submitted "your choice" proposal form for preapproval)
