The Supreme Court has had numerous cases, which have established the rights of those accused of crimes. For this project, you will research three of those cases which also involved Selective Incorporation. In these cases, the protections of the Bill of Rights have been selectively incorporated by way of the Fourteenth Amendment’s due process clause to prevent state infringement of basic liberties.

Using your own research, investigate the background and details of each of the following Supreme Court cases.

- Miranda v. Arizona
Include the following information for each of the cases. Information should be presented in your own words.
- The background of the case
- The constitutional question and/or amendments involved in the case
- The decision
- The impact of today’s society
