COM: Overview

La Comida

In this module we will be learning vocabulary and useful phrases that are associated with food and traditional dishes. The grammar in this chapter will focus on the subjunctive tense and subjunctive uses with impersonal phrases. The culture in this module will emphasize España, las comidas y las tradiciones, its origins and how it is celebrated in Spain and Latin America. The featured countries will be Perú y Bolivia.

  • apetece is used in Spain
  • gustar is used in almost every other Spanish-speaking country
