La Fecha = Date

Dates: Use of numbers and months to tell calendar dates.

Expressing the Date in Spanish:

It is very easy to express the date in Spanish if you would just follow this simple pattern:

 

Here is the date of:

• July 4, 2016: el + cuatro + de + julio + de + 2016 = El cuatro de julio de 2016 [or] El 4 de julio de 2016
• Christmas: el veinticinco de diciembre de 2016 [or] el 25 de diciembre de 2016.                
• January 1: el primero de enero (only on the 1^st of the month is the actual word for 1^st used.) = el 1 de enero de 2016

The other days of the month after primero are just regular numbers: dos, tres, cuatro, cinco...diez, once, doce, trece, catorce, quince...
