CPR - Contemporary Prose Module Overview

Contemporary Prose Module Overview

By the end of this module, you will be engaged in reading a piece of prose you have selected from a given list. You will have the opportunity to read literature written by some of the most famous authors of the past 60 years.

As you read, you may record your personal responses to your selected piece for use in your final reflective journal. Students are typically asked to analyze a piece of literature, but rarely are they able to express their feelings about a novel. You will have that opportunity in this module.

In addition, you will create a project over their book which will demonstrate your understanding as well as your creativity. Finally, you will complete a timed writing assignment based on your selection.
