PCC - Camera (Lesson)
Camera
First Impressions
With motion comes perspective. A scene can be seen from multiple perspectives and views. Setting additional cameras in Alice, similar to a movie studio, allows for unique perspectives of your stories.
Cameras set the stage, set the viewing perspective of what is happening and can switch scene perspectives to allow different points of view.
In the video below, note the camera following the same position as the car versus the car moving and the camera remaining stationary in the Motion Lesson Video. A change of perspective.
A camera could be put in the car to provide a perspective as the car drives if sufficient scenery is available to show change.
Multiple cameras may be positioned to various vantage points around your scene and motion shown from the various vantage points. Create additional cameras in the scene in the scene setup, placing them where you would like around the scene by adding a camera.
Remember first to put a camera marker for where you are starting prior to moving the scene to place additional cameras.
