In this module, we will study the following topics:  

The Power of Proteins: Protein is one of the most important nutrients in our food because it is the building blocks of our body cells.

Denaturing and Coagulating a Protein: Many times, if we change the chemical structure of a protein, it will make it easier to digest and even more tender. It also changes the taste.

Cooking with Proteins: Meat, Fish, and Chicken all provide excellent protein sources but consumers will have to be careful about fat content and cholesterol. Meats with high fat and cholesterol should only be eaten occasionally. They should opt for lean options when possible.
