Takeaway
Communication differences should not divide individuals but provide opportunities to overcome challenges that open the door to other points of view. In this lesson, you were introduced to several communication characteristics for men and women. In one instance, you discovered that women tend to ask questions prior to beginning a project. Men should understand that questions are asked for understanding to produce the desired information. You also discovered that some men focus more on facts than feelings. Women must understand that all communication has an intellectual and passionate component. Women can look for ways to express to men the need to consider issues that might obstruct the plan of action. When both genders take time to look at disputes from different perspectives, the results can be rewarding for all parties involved.
