Introduction
In this module we will explore the topic of clothing and fashion. Ado is an abbreviated form of the French term for teenager, adolescent. You will listen to and read a number of dialogues and conversations in French to enrich your French vocabulary. You will also:
review verbs, à and de contractions, immediate future, recent past, and adjectives (concepts covered in previous modules)
- clothing vocabulary
- how to describe clothes
- how to talk about size and style
- the expression il faut
- the demonstrative adjectives ce, cet, cette, ces
- the expression avoir besoin de
- BANGS adjectives
- the direct object pronouns le, la, and les
- going shopping
- writing a dictée.

- How does fashion reflect your community and culture?
- How is fashion linked to geography?
- How does fashion reflect time and place?
- What can you learn about a place and a people through clothes?
