QDS: Negatives Additional Practice

In the presentation, you saw how to say “I don’t like” and you saw that ne…pas goes around the verb (ne…pas sandwiches the conjugated verb).

The same construction is used to make any verb negative.

vJe suis américain. ➡️ Je ne suis pas américain.

J’aime ➡️ Je n’aime pas

ne…pas ➡️ ne becomes n' before a vowel or silent h
