Language Notes:

• 本来
  • It means originally, which can be used to express your previous plan. For example,   她本来想到银行上班 (She was originally thinking of working at a bank).

 

• 继续
  • It means "to continue", which can be followed by verbs to express, "to continue to do something".

 

• 最近
  • It means "recently", and it is usually used at the beginning of a sentence.

 

• 对 ... ... （很）感兴趣
  • It means "be (very) interested in something".

 

• 贵校
  • " 贵 (guì)" is often used before " 国 (guó) country," " 公司 (gōngsī) company," " 校 (xiào) school" or other institutions to express esteem and respect. "贵 (guì)" is often used in written forms, such as in letters, contracts, etc. Also on some formal occasions, such as in an opening ceremony or a business convention, people tend to say " 贵公司 (guìgōnɡsī)," " 贵校 (guìxiào)" instead of " 你们公司 (nǐmen gōngsī)," " 你们学校 (nǐmen xuéxiào)."
