POE - Techniques for Analyzing Poetry Lesson

In order to analyze poetry, a common method used is the TPCASTT process. The TPCASTT guidelines will be used throughout the module to guide you through the analysis process.

Many of the steps may include terms such as "might be about" or "seems to sound like." Poetry is an art form that is open to interpretation. If a reader can support his or her claims with words or lines from the poem, the reader has the right to his or her interpretation.
