Natural Resources
The earth provides us with everything we need for life - from power and energy in the form of tides, geothermal heat, winds, to other natural resources including but not limited to air, water, soil, plants, land, etc. A resource is a source or supply mostly comprised of a part of earth that we value and need for life. While some resources can be replaced others can not. Natural resources are often classified as renewable, flow, or nonrenewable.

Besides there being limits to the amount of resources available, there is also a limit on the location of where the resources are located around the globe. Where we find resources often depends on the development of the Earth.
