Lesson 4: Solving Real World Math Problems using the 4 Square Strategy

Introduction

In this lesson, you will continue to practice multiplying multi-digit numbers using multiple mathematical strategies. Additionally, you will learn how to read, understand and solve real-world math problems involving multiplication.

Yesterday, we learned multiple ways to multiply multi-digit numbers. Today, we will learn how to read, understand and solve real-world math problems involving multiplication using a 4-Square strategy.
