Ovid in History: Video Comparison

Now that we've read up on who Ovid was, let's explore another perspective. History is complex and there are often multiple ways to examine both people and events.

Let's look at two videos: the first is a fairly typical, historical account of Ovid, his influences, and his writing. The second, however, is a more modern take that includes a feminist critique of his poetry and an analysis of Ovid considering the context of his work. Take some time to view both videos, noting the differences in presentation, tone, and content.
