D.O.C.T.O.R. Review
For this lesson, we are going to review using the verb ser (to be). In doing so, you may want to revisit past lessons on ser to review the conjugation of this common verb. Also, do you remember the meaning of the abbreviation D.O.C.T.O.R. as it applies to the uses of ser?

For this lesson, we will be paying particular attention to D: description.
Using ser to Describe a House
In this module, we will once again review uses of the verb ser. We will use ser to describe our casa (house), habitaciones de la casa (rooms around the house), and things around the casa.
For example:
- La lámpara de mi habitación es fea.
- The lamp in my room is ugly.
- La casa de mi tía es pequeña.
- My aunt’s house is little.
Vocabulary Review
Review the descriptive adjectives provided in the vocabulary section at the beginning of the module and then complete the practice activity. The practice activity will help you review verb ser conjugation.
- Nuestra cocina es cálida. - Our kitchen is warm.
- Nuestro sofá es cómodo. - Our sofa is comfortable.
- El dormitorio de mi abuela es elegante. - My grandma’s bedroom is fancy.
- La alfombra de mi habitación es fea. - The rug in my bedroom is ugly.
- La casa de mi tía es grande. - My aunt’s house is big.
- La lámpara de la oficina es linda. - The office lamp is pretty.
- La sala de mi casa es luminosa. - The living room in my house is bright.
- Mi urbanización es moderna. - My apartment complex is modern.
- El sótano de mi casa es oscuro. - The basement in my house is dark.
- Nuestro ático es pequeño. - Our attic is small.
