FAM: Lesson - Los pronombres demostrativos
Los pronombres demostrativos
In Spanish, to express this, this one, or these we use a pronoun called the demonstrative pronoun, which has the following forms:
- Singular Forms:
- este / esta / esto
- Plural Forms:
- estos / estas
Spanish Demonstrative Pronouns
As with all pronouns, demonstrative pronouns are not accompanied by a noun, instead taking the place of a noun's role in the clause. For a demonstrative pronoun to make sense, the noun being referred to has to be clear. Often, the noun, called an antecedent, has already been mentioned and is now being recalled with the pronoun.
In this module, you will use demonstrative pronouns when introducing your family members.

NOTE: You are required to use information from this course to complete all practice activities. Additionally, fill-in-the-blank activities can be very particular: if an item is marked incorrect, double check that it wasn't something as minor as an extra space or a capital letter in the wrong place!
