Students,

The War on Terrorism began in the aftermath of terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001. Terrorists attacked the United States by seizing control of airplanes and forcing them to crash into the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington D.C.

 

Assignment

September 11th was a time in history that Americans will always remember. The terrorists involved in the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon were identified as belonging to a terrorist group called Al Qaeda from the Middle East.
