Lessons 21-24: 'I Was There' Culminating Task
Introduction
In this lesson, we will use everything we have learned about the Civil Rights Movement for a culminating activity.
Today and for the next few lessons, we will transform into the past and embark on a journey through the Civil Rights era.
'I Was There' Scrapbook Journal
Hello, Students!
You are going to transport back to the 1950s and 1960s Civil Rights era. During your journey back in time, you are going to visit two important Civil Rights Events. You will need to write a journal page to describe each event and what you saw there. In addition, you will create a 1-page scrapbook with photographs and keepsakes from the event. Both the journal entry and the scrapbook page will be digital. You will share it via assignment upload.
You can be as creative as you desire
