Hi, Students!
Today, we will take a closer look at the Cuban Missile Crisis. Conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union almost erupted in October of 1962, when Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev ordered construction of nuclear missile silos and attempted to place nuclear missiles on the communist island of Cuba. These missiles, which targeted the United States and its allies, were being built in secret.
