U.S. Enters World War II

Hey, Hey, Students!

In our last lesson, you were left with a kind of cliffhanger so to speak. As you have learned, the United States practiced isolationism at the beginning of World War II. We have also learned that isolationism means that a country or an individual is trying to stay out of something. In this case, the United States was trying to stay out of yet another World War. Americans were extremely opposed because they were still struggling from the Great Depression.

  In your journal:  Print the notes page and complete it as you go through the slides. If you do not have access to a printer, another option is to draw/write your notes page in your social studies journal.
