Although he put some plans into place to tackle the economic woes, Herbert Hoover, President of the United States, was blamed for not helping struggling Americans. He was reluctant to involve the federal government. Many Americans saw the 1932 election as a chance to finally reach a turning point that would bring renewed prosperity to the country.

For this activity, you will take a look at the 1932 Presidential Election Map. For this election, Herbert Hoover and Franklin D. Roosevelt were the two presidential candidates running for office.
