World War I Map

Hello, students! Today we will continue to look at the very beginning of World War I. You will take a look at a colored map and identify the countries that were considered neutral, allied, and central powers. 

  In your journal:  To prepare, make a three-column chart like the one below.

Draw a 3 column table. Record the countries from the map. Label columns with Neutral, Allied Powers, and Central Powers.


Activity

Now that your chart is ready, take a look at the map below. Notice the colors yellow, green, and red. Use the key to determine if the countries were neutral, allied, or central powers. Record the names of the countries on your chart in your Social Studies journal.
