When we think of consumers and producers, we may think of science.
However, for this lesson, we will think of these terms through the lens of economics.

How do consumers and producers contribute to our economy?
Consumers and Producers
So what exactly are consumers and producers?
Producers are individuals or companies that produce goods and services for others. Consumers are the individuals who purchase or use goods and services for individual needs that are provided by producers.
In short:
Producers = produce something for others
Consumers = consume goods and services provided by producers
In your journal: Print the notes page and complete it as you go through the slides. If you do not have access to a printer, another option is to draw/write your notes page in your social studies journal.
