Today, we will learn about four very important sectors (sections) of our economy.

How do the four sectors of the economy work together?
U.S. Economy
An economy is a system for allocating resources to meet people's needs and wants. It determines how goods and services are made and exchanged. The study of the economy is called economics.
The United States economy is sectioned into four different areas, or sectors. These four sectors work together so seamlessly and function as one.
In your journal: Print the notes page and complete it as you go through the slides. If you do not have access to a printer, another option is to draw/write your notes page in your social studies journal.
