W32D5 Reading
Introduction
When you’re reading, characters in your story will talk to each other. There are two important things to remember about the way characters speak: dialect and register.
Dialect is language that is specific to a region or a social group.
Register is the way someone uses language in a certain situation. Register can be formal or informal.
