W29D1 Grammar
Introduction
Sentences must have a subject and predicate. Sentences can have a singular subject (one noun or pronoun the sentence is about) or a compound subject (more than one subject). Sentences can have a singular predicate (one verb) or a compound predicate (more than one verb). The complete subject will contain the noun/pronoun and all its modifiers, but a simple subject is the noun/pronoun ONLY. The complete predicate will contain the verb and all its modifiers, but a simple predicate is the verb ONLY.
