In your Journal: Answer the following questions/prompts. Remember to paraphrase your answers, and prepare to write a descriptive paragraph about the Wright Brothers and their airplane.

      1. In paragraphs one through five, the author tells about the boys’ early lives. Describe the boys’ early lives in your own words using the information found in these paragraphs.
      2. Describe the Wright brothers’ first shop? What important events led to their discovery of information to help them build the first airplane? Using information found in paragraphs six through nine.
      3. Use paragraphs ten and elven to describe the first prototype of the airplane made by the Wright brothers.
      4. Why did the bothers use Kittyhawk to test their planes? Use evidence from paragraph twelve to answer this question.
      5. Use paragraphs thirteen trough fifteen to describe the Wright bothers’ first flight.
      6. Using the rest of the article, describe the brothers’ lives after the first flight.
