W7D2 Writing

Introduction

Writers write organized paragraphs. Think of a well-organized paragraph as having three parts:

  1. A topic sentence or main idea (tells what the paragraph is about and all the other sentences are related to the topic sentence)
  2. Supporting details (tells details about the topic)
  3. Concluding sentence (brings the writing to an end and may repeat the topic in a different way).
