W7D1 Writing

Introduction

Good descriptive writing is organized. There are a few ways to make sure your descriptive writing stays organized. Your writing should be organized by: chronological (time order), spatial (location of events), and order of importance. When describing a character, you might begin with a physical description, but remember to SHOW your characters by showing how that character thinks, feels, and acts. Good descriptive narratives have bold beginnings and satisfying endings, and part of writing an organized narrative is that your audience has a clear understanding of your story’s beginning, middle, and end.
