Using your genre chart in your journal, find at least two books (YES! You can always find more) for two DIFFERENT genres. You may use your books and the classroom library with your teacher’s permission. Bring your two samples to your seat.

In your Journal: Write down the titles and a few sentences about how you know this book fits into a certain genre.
