Lessons 23-24 - Electricity Trading Cards

Introduction

To make sure that we have a fun way to study for the unit assessment in a few days, we are going to work for the next couple of days to create Electricity Trading Cards and then review them with a sibling, parent, or friend. Electricity Trading Cards are a great way to review what we have learned about Electricity.

Assignment

You will make ten trading cards.  One for each of the following terms:

    • electricity
    • static electricity
    • electron
    • repel
    • attract
    • current
    • open circuit
    • closed circuit
    • insulator
    • conductor

For each trading card, you will:

    1. Fill in the definition of each term (look in your science journal for that information).
    2. Use the term in a sentence.
    3. Draw an illustration that represents the science term on the reverse side.

You’ll use these cards to review and better understand the terms from the lessons. You will make the cards today and study with them the following day. Download and print the Electricity Trading Cards.
