Lesson 3 - Liquids

Introduction

Liquids are one of the three states of matter. In its characteristics, a liquid is between a gas and a solid, the other two states of matter. Like gases, liquids can flow and take on the shape of the container in which they are placed—something that solids cannot do.

    3. Explore the Module 7 - Lesson 3 presentation below. Today, we’ll learn about the next state of matter - liquids.  We’ll be exploring a Google Slides presentation. It is a presentation that will help introduce you to the idea of the liquids and their characteristics.
    4. Write down the important terms and their definitions and important diagrams (yellow boxes) in your Science Journal

Today, we are going to watch a cool video to learn about liquids. Remember to take note of the section about changing from ice (solid) to liquid water to gas (water vapor).
