Introduction
The processes for building new land are called constructive forces. Today, we will introduce the constructive landform - volcanoes. We will discuss how these landforms are created.

- Explore the Module 6 - Lesson 12 presentation below. Put simply, a volcano is an opening on the Earth’s surface. Usually found in a mountain, the opening allows gas, hot magma, and ash to escape from beneath the Earth’s crust. Volcanoes are often found at meeting points of tectonic plates.
