Lesson 16 - Monster Traits

Assignment

You are going to determine what Mr. and Mrs. Monster’s offspring will look like! You will roll a die or flip a coin to determine which traits will come from the mother and which will come from the father. 

 

In your Science Journal:

1. 1. Roll a dice to determine which head shape your monster will have. Using the chart above, if you roll a 1,3,5, or get heads, record Dad's head shape. If you roll a 2,4,6, or get tails, record Mom's head shape.
   2. Write down the head shape in your journal.
   3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for all of the other traits. 
   4. After determining each trait, draw what the offspring would look like on a piece of paper.
