Lesson 12 - Cell Trading Cards
Introduction
To make sure that we have a fun way to study for the unit assessment in a few days, we are going to work for the next couple of days to create Cell Trading Cards and then review them with a sibling, parent, or friend.
Cell Trading Cards are a great way to review what we have learned about cells - specifically, the organelles of plant and animal cells and what their role is in the cell.
Activity
You will make seven trading cards. One for each of the following terms:
-
- cell
- cell wall
- cell membrane
- chloroplasts
- nucleus
- cytoplasm
- organelle
For each trading card, you will:
-
- Fill in the definition of each term (look in your science journal for that information)
- Use the term in a sentence
- Draw an illustration that represents the science term on the reverse side.
You’ll use these cards to review and better understand the terms from the lessons. Download and print the Cell Trading Cards
