Lesson 8 - Organelles: Cell Wall

Introduction

Most plants are able to grow tall because they have structures in their cells that help them become stiff and rigid to reach into the air for energy from the sun that they can convert into energy in the form of sugars. We learned about that process, photosynthesis, in yesterday’s lesson. Today, we’ll learn about plant organelles that help give plant cells their structure and help give plants their overall shape - cell walls.
