I want to teach you about word choice. Writers choose words and phrases to convey their ideas exactly. This gives clarity and understanding to our readers. Sometimes, this can get tricky!

Stop and Jot

In Your Notebook:  Look at your past writings. Have you written words like "stuff," "went," or "got?" Edit this words and choose a better word choice.

Introduction

Today , we will be revising and editing with our ARMS and CUPS strategy. 

To edit, go back and REREAD your writing multiple times. A lot of the times, you can correct mistakes that you did not even know you had with this.
