🔺Module 6 - W3 - Day 1 - ELA
Lesson Instructions
You will go through two lessons (one in grammar and one in reading).
GRAMMAR
Introduction
We are starting our work on reference materials. Today's reference tool is the DICTIONARY.
Many of these materials have often been replaced by ONE tool: the internet
However, most are still useful in our research. You will still be asked what is the best reference tool for what you need and the internet will often not be an option. Ugh!

READING
Introduction
Hey readers! The next two weeks we will be shifting focus to text features. Authors sometimes choose to give information visually. As readers, we pay attention to these to gain more knowledge on the topic.
Text features are visuals that help us understand what we are reading. Often they are charts, timelines, animations, or maps in informational reading and writing.
