A preposition always needs an object. The object of the preposition is a noun (or word/phrase acting as a noun) that follows a preposition and completes its meaning.

A prepositional phrase has three parts. It has the preposition, the object of the preposition, and the modifiers of the object.

Introduction

Hi Reader! We are going to continue learning about dramas (or plays/theater). Stories are sometimes separated by chapters in books, but dramas are separated by acts and scenes.

Scenes vs acts
Sometimes, plays are divided into scenes or acts

Scenes change when the setting (place and time) changes. They are shorter than acts.

Acts change when there is a plot twist (like the main conflict reveals itself). It includes many scenes and sometimes has an intermission between them.
